Why donate?

Anyone who has ever rescued an animal at the last moment knows the joy of seeing a dog or cat finally safe from harm, or the satisfaction of giving a pet a second chance and finding them a forever home with a loving, responsible family.  However, there are many steps in between rescue and adoption.

Once a dog or cat is out of the shelter or off the street, the journey has just begun. Our rescued pet will see a vet for an exam. They’ll be vaccinated, spayed or neutered, microchipped and checked over for infection or internal/external parasites. Care needed for each pet can vary widely from a little time in foster care to settle after a stressful transport or get over an upper respiratory infection to requiring additional vet care, medication, or surgery.  As you can imagine, these costs add up quickly.

We are a little rescue with a big heart that wants to save as many lives as we can, and we depend on the generosity of our supporters and friends to make it happen. Your donations, sponsorships, and purchases of items for our fosters are vitally important to allow us to continue rescuing animals who so desperately need our help.
